Panettiere's father accused of striking wife

LOS ANGELES �

The father of "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere was arrested early Monday on mistrust of hit his wife, authorities said. Alan Panettiere was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in West Hollywood and detained on suspicion of spousal assault, sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.


He was later released after mailing $50,000 bail.


Whitmore declined to make the woman that Panettiere is accused of hit, but aforementioned she reported to deputies that he struck the woman trey times with an loose hand.

Though primarily steeped in the traditions of folk music and Celtic music, Scottish singer/songwriter Dick Gaughan enjoyed a prolonged and far-reaching career in a change of creative pursuits. Born Richard Peter in 1948, he number one picked up the guitar at the age of seven, and issued his debut solo LP No More Forever in 1972. Gaughan so sign on with the folk-rock mathematical group the Boys of the Lough, releasing a 1973 self-titled LP before reversive to his solo life history with 1976's Kist o Gold. Stevie Wonder returns to the road this summer

Stevie Wonder [ tickets ], who made his long-awaited return to touring last year, is back at it again this summer with more than a dozen North American shows booked from coast to coast.The Motown icon is scheduled to kick things off June 18 in Wantagh, NY, and travel around the eastern US through the end of the month. In July, he'll head West for shows in Colorado, Nevada, California, Washington and British Columbia. Three of the superstar's biggest hits--"Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours" (1970), "Don't Know Why I Love You" (1969) and "I Was Made To Love Her" (1967)--were co-penned by Hardaway. Wonder's next album is expected to be a tribute to her.His latest set, 2005's "A Time to Love," marked Wonder's first studio album in more than 10 years. It reached No. 5 on The Billboard 200, scored five Grammy nominations and spawned the hit singles "So What the Fuss," "Shelter in the Rain" and "From the Bottom of my Heart."
